The terms on which Elvan opens accounts and supplies the trade. Accepted on behalf of the business when an account is opened.
An account is opened for a registered business in the jewellery trade, after Elvan has reviewed the application. Elvan may decline an application, or ask for further information before deciding, and may close an account that is not used in accordance with these terms.
The account holder is responsible for the people who use the account on the business's behalf.
Prices are issued by quotation against your account terms. Add references to your selection and submit for a priced response within one working day.
A quotation is valid for the period stated on it. An order is placed by accepting a quotation; it is confirmed by Elvan in writing.
All weights are nominal and may vary by ±5%. Dimensions are as stated on the reference. Stocked lines dispatch within 3 working days; made-to-order references carry the lead time confirmed on the quotation.
Articles are hallmarked at the Birmingham Assay Office where the Hallmarking Act 1973 requires it.
